The Los Angeles League of Photographers is about photographers coming together to discuss, review, and debate photography. The LALOP provides a forum for talking about many different photographic topics such digital vs film, historical perspectives on photography, the Los Angeles photography scene, and much more.
Meetings are held once every 6 weeks on a Sunday, unless otherwise noted. Responsibility for coordinating meetings will be on a rotational basis with members selected to run individual meetings. This meeting coordinator can choose a subject or presentation if he or she so chooses. They will also set a time and place for the Sunday meeting. Below are a list of dates of upcoming meetings and location information. This information can change at any time.
Meetings are broken up into organization business, coordinator presentation, member portfolio reviews and open forum. Portfolio work should NOT be bond in portfolio books but easily available to spread across a table.
Visitors and prospective members are welcomed to our meetings but we request they do NOT bring portfolio work. Contact us first to see if there is space available at the meeting for a visitor. Go to our membership page for membership information and joining.
